Water Is The Answer completed its active mission in by 2022, having successfully achieved our founding objectives of bringing clean water access to target underserved communities in West Africa. The wells we constructed continue to serve a community of over 20,000 people

Mission Accomplished
Our organization set out to demonstrate that young people could drive meaningful humanitarian change through innovative approaches and dedicated execution. We accomplished this goal, proving that age is not a barrier to creating sustainable impact in global development work.

The infrastructure we built remains functional and continues to serve communities, validating our focus on sustainability and community partnership. Local management structures we established continue to maintain the wells, ensuring long-term benefit for the communities we partnered with.

The team behind Water Is The Answer has channeled our experience and commitment into When We Grow Up, a new 501(c)(3) organization that provides underserved youth with access to high-impact career opportunities.

When We Grow Up builds on the same foundational belief that drove Water Is The Answer: every person deserves equal opportunity regardless of the circumstances they’re born into. Through partnerships with schools in underserved communities, When We Grow Up sends professionals from fields like medicine, law, technology, and finance directly into classrooms to share their career journeys and expand students’ understanding of what’s possible.
Just as Water Is The Answer addressed fundamental access barriers to clean water, When We Grow Up addresses fundamental access barriers to career knowledge and mentorship that prevent underserved youth from pursuing high-impact opportunities.
